My eyes dance over your words as they float into a picture in my mind.

Great post!
When I am in Jenner, on the land (no clocks, electrical power, deadlines, etc.)I go to sleep and wake up with the light. During the winter when the light is gone at 4:30 - 5, I'll read with my little solar lamps, but alas, they only last so long. Then I'll be in bed by 8 or 8:30. The next morning I'll be up with the first bird song, or the coyote's song (in harmony!) It seems that time in the forest is predicated on the pull of sun, moon, tides, and animal sounds. Each moment contains something new and I just stay still and witness it all.

Thank you, Hug. You inspire me.

Thanks for this beautiful description, Robin. I wonder what the world would be like if we could all live like this. Get enough sleep, know nature, listen to our bodies. Wow!
